Hi, I'm Sab!
I am from the great state of Florida, affectionately known as the armpit of America. Growing up, I spent most of my days fighting with my 4 younger siblings (I always won), chasing after my potbelly pet pig Henri, and climbing trees with my best friends. I come from a family with hints of creatives here and there, but since I was a young girl it was clear to everyone around me that I would live my life fully immersed as a creative.
I started singing the moment I was able to talk. I began songwriting after discovering Taylor Swift, and in the 6th grade I learned how to play guitar so I could put my lyrics to music. I have strikes of inspiration that act as a compulsion to write, often writing multiple songs in one night, and then none for months.
I have been acting since I was a young girl, and I spent the majority of my childhood watching other kids play sports while I read plays. I pursued a BFA in Acting from The Theater School at DePaul University in order to further myself in the field. I have always had a natural inclination, but my time at TTS brought technique to the surface. There is nothing in the world that I would rather do than act.
I have always loved telling stories. I find that to be the centerpiece to my creative inspiration. Whether it be acting, singing, poetry, painting, songwriting...I want to convey the message that's buzzing around in my head.
